PAYMENT
PLAIN GOODS accepts all major credit cards.


SHIPPING

PLAIN GOODS will process your online order within 1 to 3 business days.  Out of stock or backorder items will ship as we receive them.  Items ordered together may not always be shipped together.  We will contact you via email if any item(s) is out of stock.  Shipping rates are calculated at checkout.  Please note that APO, FPO and P.O. boxes must be shipped through USPS only.  Please contact us if you require expedited shipping.  

All packages are sent without a signature requirement unless otherwise requested.  The customer accepts responsibility for any missing, lost or stolen packages.  If you need to change the shipping address after the item has shipped, you will be charged $10 for a UPS intercept request.  If you order has not shipped and you need to make a change to the shipping address, please contact us as soon as possible to implement the change.  If you miss the final delivery attempt, the second shipping or reschedule fee will be an additional charge.

Shipping charges for items that require special handling or international shipments will be provided on an individual basis.

We are not responsible for any delays in weather condition, local delivery errors or international custom clearance.  If you use a shipping forwarder company, we are not responsible for any type of loss, accidents or damages after delivery by our shipping carriers.

 

INTERNATIONAL
For international shipments please contact PLAIN GOODS at 1-860-868-0280.  Customers are responsible for any additional charges such as customs, taxes or duties incurred during shipping.  All international returns will require a return authorization from PLAIN GOODS and will be at the customer's expense.  These orders may be affected by customs and excess delays.

 

SALES TAX
Connecticut sales tax of 6.35% is added to all orders within the state of Connecticut.

 

RETURNS

  • All approved returns are eligible for exchange or store credit only.  We do not accept returns for refunds. 
  • Store credits are valid for 1-year from date of issue and items purchased with store credits are final sale.
  • Customer must present store credit for redemption in-store or online. 
  • Approval by phone or email (info@plain-goods.com) is required before returning items.  Any returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted and will be returned to sender.
  • All returned items must be in original, unused condition with labels/tags attached. 
  • All vintage, antique, edible, beauty/grooming, socks, jewelry and sale items are final sale. 
  • Online returns must be received in-store within 7 days from delivery date.
  • In-store returns must be received within 7 days from purchase date. 

Please include a copy of your original receipt and pack carefully.  PLAIN GOODS is not responsible for damage that occurs during shipping.  PLAIN GOODS is not responsible for compensation of lost packages in transit to us without proof of delivery to PLAIN GOODS.  Damage claims must be made within 48 hours of package arrival.  

Customers' original shipping fees are non-refundable and the customer is responsible for all return/exchange shipping fees.  

All sale items are final sale.

Our standard wrapping consists of tissue paper, PLAIN GOODS logo sticker, ribbon and PLAIN GOODS bag.  If your purchase is a gift and you would like to include a message and complimentary handwritten card, please include a note in the “special instructions” section at checkout. 

 

PRIVACY
We are committed to protecting your privacy.  Our website provides maximum security and privacy.  We do not sell or share your information and we do not use it for any reason other than processing your order.  We do not send additional emails unless it is pertaining to your order or if you have signed up for our newsletter.
